Asset discovery automates the process of continuously identifying and categorising devices connected to a network environment. Understanding what devices are attached to a network is a fundamental part of being able to manage security risks for those devices, the network they are directly connected to and the wider environments that network then connects onwards with.

Compliance scanning collects version and configuration information from tracked assets and checks this using a comprehensive set of device specific tests to ensure there are no known bad or potentially vulnerable software or settings present.

Security monitoring collects information and events on the security of networks and their connected devices to continuously search for and alert on suspicious behaviours. If such indicators of compromise are not quickly and effectively identified, alerted and addressed they may then lead to security incidents.
